![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder if the game would still be fun if you can continuously get all of the resources that you want as it kind of makes the "Game Over" obsolete (because you'll always have enough resources to continue). ![]() I am curious about the normal mode game that you mention though. I have some good news! We already have plans to extend the upgrades limit in Endless mode so the upgrades will continue to appear for even longer than before (we didn't think people would keep playing for so long!). Originally posted by SenecaNero:I want the game to still have the same goals and fail states as normally, just have infinite ressources, so if you don't connect a station for too long the mode ends. cheat normal for people who still want the feeling of cheating a challenge and cheat endless for that koi pond experience. I want the game to still have the same goals and fail states as normally, just have infinite ressources, so if you don't connect a station for too long the mode ends.Įndless mode lacks the infinity of ressources (at some point you just can't get any more trains, waggons etc.)Īctually I thing 2 cheat modes would be best: cheat normal and cheat endless (I can clearly understand why you would only inplement one). We also have one of the nicest communities that I've ever encountered so it makes it easy to talk. Originally posted by naviverse:Oh! Thank you! Would you want goals, or would it be playing the game for the sake of itself (or something else)?Īnd so I can make a good distinction, what is Endless mode lacking (or have to much of)? ![]() I guess it's not quite the same as the point of "Cheat" mode (we sometimes call it "Sandbox" mode) would be to try a system with no restrictions, sit back and see how it works, then try something different and see if that works better. They've got the same mesmerising feel as watching Mini Metro on Endless mode. So, to clarify "Koi Pond" games (at least as I see them in my head), they are almost more experiences than games in which you watch the fish swim around and occasionally "feed" them. As long as you have a bit of patience and don't mind slowing down a bit, it seems to make people happy. It holds your attention and has some deep parts, but doesn't feel like there's too much heavy lifting. It's a game you can play in-between more intense games. We also have one of the nicest communities that I've ever encountered so it makes it easy to talk.Īnd I'm glad the game works for you. Oh! Thank you! I like to hear what people are excited about / hoping for so we can try to make good decisions with what we spend our time on. have it unlockable tho, maybe something like 500 passengers in all levels or something like that. honestly I play your game not because it is very interesting, but instead, cause it is a good way to kill time on the train, when I have no internet on my laptop and don't want to waste my mobile allowance and I want to see what I can do in a cheat mode. I think it would be neat to see how much I can push a train System with infinite recources. Basically all resourcess that one can aquire on that specific level in infinite quantity. I think a cheat mode in this game should give you infinite trains and waggons, but still keep the restriction of only 4 trains per line and only 6 lines per map, also infinite brigdes, tunnel and other crossings (what is in that level). Originally posted by naviverse:We have been thinking about this since early on the development of the game but we haven't committed to it because it would take some time/effort to implement, and we're not completely sure it would continue to be interesting without the constraints and would end up being time wasted.Ĭan you tell me a bit about why you think it would be neat, and why would you want to play the game this way? ![]()
